Every project is different, and I like it that way
The visual landscape of market research websites is predominantly dull and corporate looking. To launch into the consumer research market Sapio Research sought my services to make a dashing brand and website that would stick out and appeal to the target audience.
Defining the strategy of the brand and the website, I created the logo, the visual identity, and the entire website from the ground up.
A comprehensive quote calculator was also created, and optimally linked with the client’s CRM to facilitate internal lead acquisition operations.
Getting to create the brand story, the visual brand identity, the logo, and the website for world’s most expensive jamón was a great honor indeed.
Inspiration was certainly not difficult to find since Eduardo Donato’s own story is already amazing. With a rustic touch we created a brand that magnifies his story of authenticity and ecologism, and has helped Eduardo and his products get global acclaim.
The visual identity and website I created gave strength to the impressions Eduardo's endeavor left on people, as his company went from being practically unknown, to winning numerous awards and being prominently featured in international media like Forbes, the BBC, CNBC, and
the Guinness World Book Of Records (darn it, somebody has since sold a more expensive ham!)
EPSRC and SFI Centre for Doctoral Training in Energy Resilience and the Built Environment (ERBE)
A new research centre set up by Loughborough University, the MaREI Centre, and University College London required a visual look and digital presence to promote their bespoke PhD programme.
Working closely with the management and communications team, I created a logo, visual identity, and a flexible and easy to maintain website.
Built around a drag-and-drop page builder, along with custom built plugins to facilitate the displaying and dynamical filtering of archives, the website ensures the flexibility to scale up and adapt for the future.
The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP)
Searching for a good way to showcase their EU funded projects, the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) contacted Communication Package with whom I designed and developed this intuitive interactive map that puts ACP's projects in a global perspective.
Used in high stake meetings and presentations, the map successfully performed its task of showing the breadth of ACP's activities, as well as supplying additional media and statistical information for each project.
A challenge was to incorporate efficiently the large amount of programme and project data, but thanks to the Excel importation functionality I added this became a child's play.
The deforestation conscious NGO Fern asked my help in updating their collaborative documents library. The website serves as a central library where NGOs around the world dealing with forest related issues and policy can consult and upload reports, statements, publications, and more, in order to maximise the spread of knowledge.
Having rebuilt the website from scratch, I improved the navigability of the library - turning a static archive into one that is dynamically searchable and filterable - and also made it easier for partner NGOs to upload a variety of content directly onto the website.
World Container Design
Modular building with revamped containers has been a popular solution in recent years. The eco-conscious approach is not only cost-friendly, but also leaves room for creativity and scalability, and the startup World Container Design wanted a brand identity and website that expressed these qualities.
I designed the logo and visual brand identity which took to heart the modular and innovative ethos of the company. I also designed and developed a concise one-pager website that further expresses the creative edge the brand wanted to convey.
Besides the visual brand identity and website, I also designed branded assets in the shape of business cards, t-shirts, flags, and banners which found their use in promoting the new startup.
A successful currency exchange service sought to update their brand at the hand of a new visual identity and website. The new visual identity, logo, and website design were made by Pitch Black Graphic Design and I took charge of the development of the website.
The dynamic currency exchange calculator and exchange activity map, both which get real-time values via an API, were two custom-built features that were a joy to design and develop.
The deforestation conscious NGO Fern needed help fine-tuning their visual brand identity and streamlining its integration across their communication channels.
Along with the creation of a visual style guide, I brought visual consistency across their social media channels, and designed and developed a flexible and scalable MailChimp email template through which they can update their stakeholders with important news and events surrounding deforestation and deforestation policy.
